A joyful experience...!

Though we could not include all the teachers in our 'Funschool' session, but what a wonderful experience it has been to see our beloved teachers so much excited and in a fun mood. It actually seemed as if these were small few children passing their time and having a great masti and fun together. Not only the teachers, but we, Team Funschool and other few students who were present as audience also had a great time. It was a moment of pride and happiness to give them those colourful chits, to give them chocolates as their rewards, to see them acting and singing, and sharing some great moments of laughter. It was a unique experience for all of us here in Team Funschool.

All of us had a great time to put in our hardwork for making posters, arranging gifts, creating this blog, deciding games, having the pilots and experiencing the event in person. We all feel t.hat it had paid off really well. It was not only our PR campaign, but more than that

Indeed, the 'Funschool' has given us moments to cherish through our life. The fact that the teachers shared their chocolates with us and thanked us with their kind words...gives us a feeling of great joy. Our objective of giving the teachers, a relaxing and enjoyable session was successful and we are really happy about it. Thank you for your support, we hope to bring more such sessions for you in the future...

A funfilled day at 'Funschool'

27th April, 2012. What a day for FUN it was. It was a feeling of pride and happiness for 'Team Funschool' to have organised such a great fun session for our beloved teachers of BJMC. The session was organised with many teachers of BJMC department, including our HOD, Ms. Charulata Singh.

The event took place in the second half of the college schedule. And the first game was 'Act and Guess'. Teams of two teachers each were made randomly. In this game, 1 person from each team came and explained his fellow team member a 'hindi muhavra' in 45 seconds. Teachers were very good and funny while acting and explaining, they did some like 'lohe ke chane chabaana', 'aa bael mujhe maar', 'apne muh miyan mithu' etc. It was a hilarious and enjoying game for all, and the winners were our dear HOD Ms. Charulata Singh and Ms. Mona Gupta.

The next game was quite similar, it was 'Draw and Guess', with similar rules, but this time with some drawings on the board. This time, teachers came, and drew things/activities etc on the board, to make others guess what they are drawing, and again in 45 seconds. This round also saw some great skills, and many moments of fun and laughter. Where some were disqualified, others had a fun time watching and guessing the pictures. We had funny figures of a 'DSLR Camera', 'Murder', 'Barber', 'Examination Hall etc.'

Our last game of the day was 'Passing the Parcel', a game of music and masti. Though we couldn't arrange for a good music system, we arranged for funny punishments for our teachers. Where one teacher sang a melodious song 'Tinka Tinka' for us, another sang 'Machli Jal ki Rani' with actions. Eventually, the winner was our sweet teacher, Ms. Anuradha Mishra.

After the games, chocolates were given to the winners as well as the participants. And our lovely teachers were very generous to share them with all present. Every teacher gave thumbs up for our initiative, and all said that they had an enjoying day at 'Funschool'. Some also said to have these activities frequently as it was a very relaxed and joyful session for all.

We heartily thank all our teachers to attend this small event of ours where we got a chance to entertain them, and give them some moments to cherish.

We would also like to thank Aditya Nair for his support when one of our team members could not turn up because of an injury.

Another Step Forward...

Its a unfortunate to inform that there are a lot of hindrances coming up in getting the permissions and nods by the higher authorities of the college. As the semester exams are approaching ahead and teachers are concerned about them and want to devote time for that. Hence, the main 'Funschool' even might get postponed.

But hey! we are pretty much ready to have it right now. And hence, after some attempts, we have convinced the BJMC department(The Faculty) to come and experience the joy of 'Funschool' on 27th of April, 2012. We will consider this as our second pilot activity, but we will organise it properly as we have a section of teachers with us to experience the fun.

We feel honoured to perform 'Funschool' activities for the teachers. We will soon post about the event, with its pictures and details.
